Nursing & Cognitive Impairment Unit

Nursing & Cognitive Impairment Unit

In the Nursing and Cognitive Impairment Units, we ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

These departments combine nursing care, medical supervision, a variety of individual and group activities, and warm, loving attention.

Who are the patients admitted?

The ward is intended for patients referred from the community or other medical centers

Cognitive Impairment: A mobile patient who suffers from significant cognitive decline in areas such as memory, orientation, and intellect, and requires assistance, supervision, and guidance with basic daily activities.

Nursing Care: A patient who requires ongoing medical monitoring and assistance with daily activities, is bedridden or wheelchair-bound, has no control over bodily functions, or walks with great difficulty.

Purpose of admission to the department:

To assist, support, and accompany the patient during their stay, while providing the highest quality of life possible and a home-like atmosphere tailored to the patient’s abilities and needs.

Department Staff:

Care in the department is provided by a multidisciplinary team that offers help and support in all aspects of the patient’s life—physical, emotional, and social. The multidisciplinary team works in constant coordination and collaboration to meet the needs of both patients and their families.
