    Bet Hadar began operating in 1998 as a nursing home. Over the past 26 years, it has become a large and diverse geriatric medical center, both in the types of treatments it provides and in the fascinating diversity of its employees and the population that benefits from its services. <\/p>\n

    Beit Hadar is the only place in the South of Israel where rehabilitation, complex care nursing and respiratory departments can be found under one roof, alongside nursing departments.
    <\/strong><\/p>\n

    With 252 licensed hospital beds, we are all one team here \u2013 a large number of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dieticians, speech therapists and social workers, hand in hand with a wonderful group of dedicated, compassionate east, and, radiating human warmth and love of others, diligent maintenance workers, housekeeping and kitchen workers, secretaries and administrative workers \u2013 in our daily, joint mission, which is expressed in the provision of advanced medical, rehabilitation and nursing services to the residents of the vast area between Ashdod in the west and Kiryat Gat in the east, and as far south as Eilat. <\/p>\n

    We also make our contribution to the education and training of health professionals in the course of their study at the faculties of nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and nutrition at nearby universities, as we are a location for practical experience and seminars held at our center.<\/p>\n

    Bet Hadar is a shared home in which all representatives of our country’s diverse population, both patients and staff, live together, with everything that is shared and everything that is different. The reciprocal relations that take place here are based on mutual acceptance, respect and appreciation, listening and identifying special needs, and setting rules that enable the bridging of differences and striving for the welfare of the entire public that comes through our gates. <\/p>\n

    Our therapeutic approach places the patient at the center of the action, and the treatment of the patient is inclusive. We guarantee every patient professional, humane and considerate treatment; we are here to support the patient and the patient’s family and to help them through the maze of the health crisis that has befallen them, towards finding the right path to rehabilitation and adjustment. By virtue of our outstanding staff members, with their knowledge, determination and their love for the heroic field that they have chosen, Bet Hadar Medical Center is one of the leading geriatric centers in Israel. <\/p>\n

    The Patient’s Rights Law, the Human Dignity and Liberty Law, are our guiding principles, together with our faith and vision, and in light of the regulations and procedures of the government bodies responsible for regulating our field of activity, we strive every day, hour by hour, to do only good.<\/p>\n
